So today is our 6th wedding anniversary. Nothing fun planned for today, Tony had to work, so I am spending the day with the kids. We decided to postpone doing anything for our anniversary until all of Tony's jobs are complete. I cant believe it has been 6 years already, what a wonderful 6 years and to top it all off we have had 4 great kids in those 6 years. Cant wait for years to come!!!

So Kellan starts Pre-school on Wednesday. He missed the cut off for kindergarten by a little over a month. Which is really to bad because he is really ready to start kindergarten, oh well pre-school will have to do. I am a little sad though, I have finally realized he is not a baby anymore and it wont be to long before the other ones are in school as well. Wow how time flies. As much as I would love to keep him home and keep him small forever, I do have to admit he is so excited about going to school. He met his teacher the other day and met some of the kids that will be in his class. Now all he can talk about is how many more days it is until he starts school. I am glad though that he is excited and glad he gets to be around kids his age again.

Well that is it on the home front tonight, now I have to go chase some kids around the yard and get them ready for bed.

So I decided to start a blog to update my family and friends on life of the OBrian clan. Some of you I keep in contact with on a regular basis and others I have just recently gotten in touch with through FaceBook. Anyway here goes........ I graduated from Sacramento State University with a BS in Criminal Justice in December of 1999. Shortly after I met Tony.... and yes it is a true story that we met on a blind date. 3 1/2 years later we were married on September 6, 2003, and had our first son, Kellan, was born on October 27, 2004. What a wonderful addition to our family. 21 months later we had the second addition to our family, Isabel, who was born on July 6, 2006. Everyone commented on how we had the million dollar family since we had a boy and girl which most families hope they get. I would have to agree that we had the million dollar family but not because we had a boy and a girl but because we have a wonderful marriage and had 2 healthy beautiful children. Well we apparently wanted to make our family a 2 million dollar family because on September 28, 2007, Aidan joined our crew and on January 13, 2009 Regan joined our family to make the OBrian clan, the 2 million dollar family. I know you are all probably thinking we are crazy for having 4 children, but we both decided we wanted a big family and they are all a gift from God. I suppose you are all asking if we are going to have more and the answer is yes when we feel that God has told us it is the right time. I will tell you that I cant imagine being married to anyone else or not having anyone of my children. I love them all so dearly and I praise God for them everyday.

I am a working mom and work as an workers compensation claims adjuster. I like the work that I do for I do a lot of investigations and I work closely with legal counsel. Tony is currently a stay at home dad and I am so happy that he gets the opportunity to stay home with the kids. We also started our own business selling a vitamin product that I swear by. I was so leary of starting the vitamin supplement but after about a month of being on the product I started feeling better, the problems I had after my surgery started going away and I was sleeping better. Tony has seen some of the same things as well. Anyway we decided to go ahead and sell the product to others since we have seen such good results. We have only just started so we are in the learning process but we have been doing well for the short time we have been doing it. I dont think that this will turn into something that will supplement my income anytime soon, but it is nice to hear other peoples stories who have been on the product and to hear the stories of the ones who have just started it. My desire is to eventually become a stay at home mom whether that be I work out of the home or just stop working all together. I havent found anything yet but my eyes and ears are open. Hey if any of you hear anything regarding work from home jobs, let me know.

So I am sure you are all wondering what I do for fun.....LOL. Well I do have to say that I dont have a lot of free time with 4 kids all under the age of 5. Most of what I do for fun is doing craft projects with my kids, reading to them or just watching them play or do something cute or funny. I do find time to workout which is my stress reliever.... thank goodness for weights and cardio machines. I think on some days the cardio machines hate me, it seems the more stressed I am the harder I workout. Tony and I also find time to have a date night here and there although sometimes it might just be watching a movie at home after the kids are in bed. It doesnt really matter though what we do for date night, whether it is watching a movie at home of sitting outside in front of our fire pit, we always enjoy each others company. My co-workers always raz us because we spend so much time with each other and our kids ( it is all in fun of course). I wouldnt have it any other way though, I love my husband dearly and my children and I love spending every minute that I can with them.
